Ari is the sweeter and more temperate one of the Bellamy sisters. She is well natured, and generally kind to people and animals alike. While she isn’t exactly an extrovert, she also doesn’t shun anyone that she does come into contact with. Typically she can be found in the library, or catching some quiet study time in the corner of the common room. She doesn’t have any particular desire to be the center of attention, and gives those around her the perpetual benefit of the doubt.
Ari does have a tendency to worry. This largely stems from her abilities as a seer. Most of the time the things that she sees are inconsequential, like if you are ever wondering what you should have for lunch that day she can probably tell you. However, from time to time she does see larger incidences and other events that she struggles to decipher. This can end up sending her into a harried rush during which time she’ll rarely speak of anything other than symbolism.

history;; Ari was born in Bristol, England, and was the second child of Evangeline and Victor Bellamy. They were a happy family, but shortly after Ari’s birth Victor was killed in a raid on a group who were illegally cursing muggle items. Ari and her sister were young, but she does remember having to move around a great deal over the next few years. Then their mother met Bismark Gibbon, and married him less than a year later. They spent the next few years in Bristol, but he would eventually move the family to London.
Bismark’s own son also lived with the family. He was an angry child, which was probably caused by his own father’s lack of attention towards him. It quickly became evident that Bismark really did not care for children, despite having one of his own. Corvin often took out his frustrations on his new family members, the complaints of whom were largely ignored by Bismark. This all came to a climax when one day, after an argument with his father, Corvin pushed a 9 year old Ari down the stairs. Her head had cracked back on the stone floor at the bottom of the staircase, doing serious damage to the optical cortex of her brain. It left Ari blind.
Since that time little has changed within the structure of the Bellamy/Gibbon family. Ari was relieved when Corvin left for Hogwarts, but acutely lonely for a year when her sister left as well. Ari got her own letter when she turned 11 and has been attending school since then. She is in the same house as her sister and is really trying to work on polishing her seer abilities.
